Hi! My name is Christine Apostol and I am a junior at Carlsbad High School. Astronomy has always intrigued me, but I never really realized how great of an impact it can have on someone when presented in a powerful way. Looking at life through the “bigger picture” can teach someone a plethora of lessons. I learned this when I saw the way Shayda teaches with passion during club, and my outlook on life changed, that day, for the better. Now, I work with her to show other people the importance of astronomy! I’m excited for another, awe-filled year at ASOC!
